Open calls for doctoral positions are typically published at the start of each semester, though they are not guaranteed to appear every semester.
Welcome Compass
The Welcome Compass is aimed in particular at (prospective) applicants and new employees. It is the central virtual point of contact offering information and guidance for a successful start at the University of Vienna and in Vienna.
This includes, among other things, information on:
- Entry into and residence in Austria,
- Finding accommodation,
- The Austrian healthcare system, and
- Helpful tools for getting started at the University of Vienna.
