An appropriate assignment of publications by members of the University of Vienna (students and staff) is only possible if correct affiliation data are provided.
In addition, it is a requirement of good academic practice that authors fully and correctly name the institutions in which they have performed their research. Because of the new Affiliation policy, the DoCS have to be included as an affiliation on the paper of DoCS students.
