Doctoral Advisory Board

The Doctoral Advisory Board is appointed to give advice to the administrative body responsible for study matters, to students and supervisors.

The Doctoral Advisory Board is of particular relevance for assessing public presentations at the faculty ("FÖP"), provides valuable feedback and consults doctoral candidates concerning their thesis topic and its approval. Its members can also help with decisions regarding applications for admissions to the doctoral programme or the DoCS.

An advisory board may be qualified in one or more fields of doctoral research of a specific curriculum. Regulations regarding doctoral advisory boards at the University of Vienna are stipulated by the University Statutes.
