We are very happy to invite all DoCS doctoral students to the DoCS networking event happening on 21.06.2023 at 15.30 and consisting of a guided tour through the Vienna Museum of Science and Technology / Technisches Museum Wien!

The plan of the event is:

1. Meeting point: Please come in the entry hall of the Vienna Museum of Science and Technology (location: Mariahilfer Straße 212, 1140 Wien) at 15.20, so that all tickets can be distributed and the tour can start in time.

2. The tour starts at 15.30 and lasts approximately 50 minutes. It offers special exhibits and treasures of technological history, with the most famous, valuable, and fascinating ones being presented in this guided tour, such as the world’s very first aircraft, a giant crucible, a whole hydroelectric power plant, the Hofsalonwagen (Austrian royal railway carriage) of Empress Elisabeth or the Mercedes Silver Arrow. 3. After the tour's end, a table is reserved at the Velobis Bike Bistro (Johnstraße 1-3/Linzerstraße 2, 1140 Wien) for relaxed networking with fellow doctoral colleagues.
