Every active doctoral student of the University of Vienna is invited to apply for the Impact.Award. Successful completion of the public presentation of the dissertation project to the faculty is obligatory.

- Announcement of winners: Early June 2021
- Completion of project: 31. December 2021
- Presentation at the Dies Academicus 2022
