Conceptual Modeling is about the use of abstraction to reduce complexity in a domain for a specific purpose. The design of modeling methods thus requires meta-conceptual capabilities in order to manage multiple abstraction layers, a skill usually associated with human intelligence.

Prof. Dr. Dimitris Karagiannis from the University of Vienna will give a lecture on Conceptual Modelling for Digital Innovation Environments at NEMO.
