The Cluster of Excellence EurAsian Transformations offers funding for extended study and research stays in East and Southeast Asia. The focus is on using digital tools to explore cultural heritage and related economic/social topics
- Target Group: Doctoral students and early postdoctoral researchers (within 8 years of PhD) affiliated with Austrian academic institutions.
- Eligible Countries: Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.
- What's Covered: Travel, accommodation, per diems, and research expenses – up to €10,000.
- Requirements: Minimum 2-week stay with active collaboration or exchange with local scholars. Participation in COE Summer Academies is also supported.
