Our UniVie DoCS doctoral students from the research cluster Data&Knowledge (D&K) went on a two-day retreat that took place in Payerbacherhof in Lower Austria.

The retreat attended around 40 participants including DoCS students, postdocs, and professors of the research cluster D&K. It was organized as a realization of this year’s doctoral research seminar “Data and Knowledge”. The doctoral students presented their research topics and discussed open problems with their colleagues and supervisors. There was also time for open problem presentations, active discussions of their topics and research sessions with their supervisors.

This gathering offered them an inspiring and motivating program combining research & networking with hiking, evening program, and dinner. It also helped them greatly in progressing with their research topics.
