This course gives an introduction to the objectives and methods of Science communication. Students will gain an understanding on various approaches, formats and channels for science communication from invited guest speakers (Barbara Streicher - ScienceCenterNetzwerk, Bernhard Weingartner - Wissenschaftskommunikator, Karoline Iber - Kinderbüro Universität Wien, further speakers tba).
Throughout the course students will develop specific science communication activities in small groups which relate to their academic work and interests. These science communication projects will be implemented in e.g. workshops or interactive talks.
The language of communication is English.
