Application documents
Please submit the following documents as one single PDF document in English via Apply@DoCS:
- Motivation letter (summary of previous research conducted and your motivations; max. 1 page)
- Curriculum vitae (CV; preferable Europass format)
- Degree certificates (Copies of BSc and MSc Diploma certificates in German or in certified English translation in addition to their original language; self-translated transcripts of certificates will not be recognized)
- Additional relevant information (e.g. list of publications; awards/prizes; conference attendances; teaching experience; programming languages; internships/participation in research projects; employment confirmations)
- Proof of Language Proficiency (optional); Please be aware that English is the prevailing programme language, in case available provide relevant document(s) such as TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate, School leaving certificate with English as graduation subject.
In the extra fields of the application form, you should briefly describe your master thesis (max. 2000 characters) as well as provide contact information of two supervisors, who can be reached and are willing to provide recommendation letters upon request by DoCS.
Please select the field of study (informatics/business informatics) which you aspire to pursue in your dissertation. Usually this is the one closest to your master degree.
